Hey Revd Leonard,
It's easy to do on the Mac under pre OSX operating systems. Create a text
file with the IP and the domain name it's suppose to resolve to. Go to
Control Panels -> TCP/IP, under edit select User Mode, check the Advanced
button and click okay. You should see a "Select Hosts file..." button in the
upper right hand side of the dialog box. Click on that and select your host
file from wherever you saved it.
