I have been trying to use postgresql on my RAQ4. I followed Cobalt's
instructions for turning user "admin" into a superuser so I can create
databases, and that seems to work.
However, in trying to set up PhpPGadmin. When I try to access the page I
get the error:
"You do not have postgresql support built into your PHP Web Server."
Now PHP is included in the RAQ4, and I was under the impression it did
include postgresql support. The Cobalt KB certainly didn't indicate there
is a problem, though admittedly the info did not specifically deal with PHP.
I just added the update to PHP 4.1.2-2, and still have the same problem.
Using the PHPinfo page it shows under the cofigure command
'--with-pgsql=shared'
So I'm not sure what the problem is. Is the problem with the way I have
phpPGadmin confugred (which is pretty basic) or do I need to do something
with the PHP? Since PHP is included within the RAQ4, I'm a little wary
about trying to mess with it, but I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt
with this.
