RE: [cobalt-users] Unknown terminal "unknown" in $TERM

A quick fix might be to type this at the prompt:

TERM="vt100"; export TERM

or

TERM="xterm"; export TERM

Try searching google.com for your error message, there are quite a few sites
referencing your error.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Unknown terminal "unknown" in $TERM

I just started playing with remote console via SSH (as well as local).

Whenever I attempt to execute a command, I get

Unknown terminal "unknown" in $TERM

I bet this is an easy one.

Thanks

Brandon
