When I connect interactively (telnet to port 143, then do ". login user
password") I get the "Login user=" message in /var/log/maillog.  When I
connect with Netscape Communicator I get the "Authenticated user="
message.

I've gone ahead and filed this as a bug on RaQ4.  I'll set up my RaQ3
and RaQ2 later to double-check, and submit the bug on them as well if
needed.

Don't know when a patch might come out, especially for the RaQ2 and
RaQ3, but I'll at least get my Perl verified and "approved" as a
temporary fix in the meantime...
