It doesn't happen NOW, it takes a little time for the nameserver information to
propogate,
You do have the correct nameserver info in the whois database don't you?
Do a whois domain.tld and check.
You may have to get a whois client.
To test the servers ability to display the pages
put the ip domains in /etc/host on a Linux desktop or \sindows\hosts on 95-98
