further to last email I have now got the printing working.  On a windows box
you can not just add a network printer and expect it to be there I don't
know why but what you do is do a network browse -

log on to the qube when asked and you then get a printer icon to click on -
click on the printer and you get asked if you want to set this up to use
from windows confirm and then you get told that it doesn't have the correct
drivers installed do you want to install them locally - do so and voila you
get a printer in your printers folder that you can drag and drop print jobs
to or print from an application.

I take it from this experience that on a windows machine at least means that
any usb printer is compatible with the Qube.

Anybody got anything to add to this.
