I posted a question a few days ago concerning setting up a Windows machine
such that everything is basically installed the way you would find it on the
RAQ. I'll paste the original, since there is a link there on how to do this
on RaQ3/4, but my question concerned whether or not more recent versions of
the software mentioned there might need some "tweaking."

The configuration on Windows should allow for pretty much seemless
development (application, not Linux specific stuff, of course) based on what
I read at emoe.net...

Anyone have any other insights on this?

Found this post in the archives from last May from Greg Trangmoe:

http://list.cobalt.com/pipermail/cobalt-users/2001-May/042816.html

There is a link in it to a white paper on his site
(http://www.emoe.net/whitepapers/raq3win32dev.html) with some tips on
configuring a Windows machine for development for RaQ's. The stuff he
addresses there is:

. Apache
. Perl
. MySQL
. DBI-DBD
. Sendmail (Windmail)
. PHP

Just wondering if anybody has any additional information with respect to the
current versions of any of the above software, any pitfalls, configuration
issues, etc.

Chili!Soft has a free developer version for Windows as well
(http://www.chilisoft.com/chiliasp/devedition.asp), and since it is on the
RaQ4 already, I am going to add it to the above. Thanks in advance for any
suggestions.
