Subject: [cobalt-users] ChiliASP 3.6 Crashed. - Raq4.
Date: Thu, 07 Mar 2002 04:11:00

Hostory Of the Problem
----------------------
* I installed cobalt raq4-en-osupdate-2.0, and then raq4-java-devkit-1.3 and
httpd
did not started with error messages showing of tomcat and chiliasp prob

What I Did
----------
decided to remove tomcat and chiliasp ( i dont know why chiliasp crashed, it
is 3.6.0)
again and do a fresh install.

* to remove tomcat i did
/etc/rc.d/init.d/tomcat.init stop
and removed the tomcat setup lines in httpd.conf after making a backup of
it.

httpd again refused to restart with following message.
Failed to open libcasp2ap.so.

* to remove chili soft i removed.
#LoadModule frontpage_module modules/mod_frontpage.so
#LoadModule casp2_module modules/mod_casp2.so
and in srm.conf
#CaspLib /home/chiliasp/asp-apache-3000

* there is no dirctory like /opt/

How Do I
---------
* Appache is now up and running but when ever one open .asp it opens the
source
of asp page. ( how to stop it immidiatly, i dont want to run chiliasp any
more )

* When I install chiliasp 3.6, it says package allready installed do you
want to
install again, on YES , it says package cant be uninstalled.

* i still have to install java package.

-( and if there are any consultants arround, pls contact )-

Farooq
