Hello,
Has anyone tried running MS FrontPage extensions in addition to using suEXEC on a particular virtual
site?
I had suEXEC running on a particular virtual site for a while but it came crashing down earlier
today when I enabled MS FrontPage extensions for the first time. For wathever reason the enabling
of these extensions changed the permission setting of /usr/sbin/suexec from -rwsr-xr-x
to -rwxr-xr-x. This in turn caused apache to stop working with suexec. After some testing it seems
like I can have only one or the other operating - the extensions or suEXEC for virtual sites. This
depends on the permissions of the suexec program.
Has anyone else come across this problem? And if so, do you know of a way of configuring the files
such that one can have FrontPage extensions and suEXEC for virtual sites running simultaneously?
Thanks,
Andrew
