Sun's  SparcBlade 100 desktop is based on the UltraSparc II
CPU.  There is also a SparcBlade 1000 which is based on the
UltraSparc III CPU and cost quite a bit more that $999.00.

I'm sure there are more but these are the two Sun "blade" systems
that I am aware of on the low end.

Sun came out with "blade" desktops $999 running solaris a year or so ago.
These things probably use the same hardware (cpu).
