Fraser,
If you are co-located in a fiber-centric place like 60 Hudson in New York or
55/56 Marietta in Atlanta, blade servers (I love this term) are more than
appropriate.
Aside 1: It's also a lot more convenient when swapping monitors between lots
of them (non Cobalts)

I agree, but it would have been nicer to have them 18 Months ago. As for
Cobalt and its appliance products, well believe me you won't get a bigger
fan than me, I worked for them for over 3 years in sales. I am glad to see
that Sun may actually realise what they have at long last, shame they didn't
realise it 15 months ago, that would have kept the competition at bay.
The Cobalt development guys are among some of the best in the world, but
they have had their hands tied a bit since Sun took over, lets hope they are
allowed to open up again and bring some more brilliant products to market.
