"Hi,
We have set file_uploads to off for the moment.
In the meantime pkgmaster has an update for a RaQ4 only. Has anyone
noticed .pkg files for RaQ3s and XTRs around? Has anyone tried the
updating PHP from the tar file on php.net?"
We are the same as Matthew, we have turned file uploads to off as there is
only one person on the server utilising PHP.
What I want to know is we went to the PHP site and on this RaQ3 we have
PHP4.0.4 now there is no mention of a security patch for that, there is
security patch for version 3.X, version 4.0.6 and of course the latest
4.1.2 download, so what do we use???? Do we download the 4.0.6 file which
is "whateverthename.gz" which is applied to the php/main folder and if it
is how do you apply a .gz file???
Apart from going the full hog and reloading the latest version of Apache
then PHP, can anyone suggest the appropriate way to apply this security
patch or get the latest version of PHP to run on a RaQ3.
Also noticed that on this machine in the usr/local/php we dont have a
php.ini it's php.ini.dist or php.ini.optimised yet it still works on the
server ???
