Have you checked the PHP manual? http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.pdf.php
As far as MySQL goes, if you're trying to pull data from MySQL to generate
content for your PDF file, conceptually it's the same as pulling data from
it to generate HTML output, a text file, etc. In any case, unless the
pdflib functionality is broken, it's not a Cobalt issue and you're probably
better off asking on the php-general list at php.net or searching its
archive.

I'm not familiar with Yaps, but I've installed GhostScript 7.0.3 in order to
get ImageMagick running a few weeks ago.

If I haven't given you enough please provide more details about what you're
trying to do, what problems you're encountering and whether something seems
to be broken or you just don't know how to go about doing whatever you're
trying. Again, this might not be the best place to ask.
