[cobalt-users] Ongoing Email Alias or MX loop error

back to me (MX problem?)

Can somone explain this message to me... in plain english?

If I have all the domain's aliased in the email server settings, mail 
for users works fine, but email to their aliases bounces back "user 
unknown". So the Cobalt Knowledgebase tells me to alias the domain in 
the site's settings - but this precludes the aliases in the email 
server settings - in fact it removes them.... and of course I then 
get the MX looping problem: Catch-22.

I *think* the DNS is all set up ok, but that might well be where the 
problem lies. Or maybe something fundamentally wrong with my system 
software...
