Frank, may I ask why you would want to grant all privileges to every MySql
user? Robbert simply failed to supply a password when issuing the
mysqladmin command. The error message "Using password: NO" is evidence of
that. In any case, I'm not sure what problem would justify granting all
users all privileges. Doing so enables all users to have root control to
all databases. Ouch. And in any case it seems to me the advice you gave
accomplishes nothing while removing all security for existing MySQL users.
And even if it does accomplish something recreating the proper privilege
levels for each user could be a real pain. Am I missing something?
