There is a great dreamweaver extension that allows you to select any or
all of the files in a site and change the permissions. It works quite
well, I mostly use it for cgi permissions but I tried and I set a whole
site to 664 with like 3 clicks in dreamweaver. Check out the macromedia
extensions site and do a search with the word permissions. You should
find it.
