Has anyone use the group at http://njabl.org/ to stop spam?

Nope, first time i have seen it...hmm

It says you have to make a one line change to sendmail.mc and then rebuild
 your sendmail.rc file and restart.

On a Raq's unless you are fairly savvy, that will result in a non working
configuration, see other posts about using ordb/orbz/etc , it's The same
in use as any of the RBL's

If you do this, does making a change to mail return it to its original state?

Upgrading the OS will probably wipe it out, cobaly likes to overwrite the
configuration files that are not otherwise considered user configurable..

Any comments? I am really more concerned with stopping virus' than spam
and am not real good with procmail

A spam list is probably not going to do a thing about virus's except those
rare few times some clueless spammer gets a virus and all his spam victims
are in his address book (had that happen once, was kinda funny how fast
his account got toasted when i matched it with a actual spam and sent it
back to his isp ;P)

Au contraire. The njabl.org is going to save you a ton of spam. If this is the first time you have heard of it, how can you say otherwise?

Hack your sendmail.cf or .rc if you need to somehow to accomodate it. Unless you enjoy receiving penis enlargement and breast enlargement spams from open relays (some people need hobbies and extra work to do to feel important).
