Hi,
I just got a brand new developer equipment RaQ 4r and started
testing in the LAN. First, I installed all the patches and
then the packages (OpenSSH, php, MySQL etc etc).
Everything except for the ASP administrative server seemed to
work fine. And that is where the problem started. I could not
get to the page for defining the ASP administrative server
parameters. The browser always showed an error "unable to
locate server servername:5100". Trying to connect with
http://ipnumber:5100 did not help either.
To cut the long story short...
I used the OS Restore Disk (which I had received with the equipment)
to get the original setup back and re-installed the patches and
the packages.
This time I can see the chilisoft ASP Release 3.6.0 listed
in the GUI. Even the test links provided there work fine.
However, the original problem still remains. I can not get to
the page for setting the ASP administrative server parameters.
And the same error message is displayed again.
In addition, I now noticed that the GUI shows wrong size
for the hard disk(s) and just 4.6 GB (4638.5 MB) instead of
40 GB. According to the GUI, the disk mirror is intact.
Following is the output of "dk -k"
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/md1 743371 563209 180162 76% /
/dev/md3 198275 10468 187807 5% /var
/dev/md4 4749849 144457 4605392 3% /home
and fdisk /dev/hda (print table option)
Command (m for help): p
Disk /dev/hda: 16 heads, 63 sectors, 77545 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 1008 * 512 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 1 1524 768095+ fd Linux raid autodetect
/dev/hda2 1525 1846 162288 5 Extended
/dev/hda3 1847 2253 205128 fd Linux raid autodetect
/dev/hda4 2254 12009 4917024 fd Linux raid autodetect
/dev/hda5 1525 1585 30743+ 83 Linux
/dev/hda6 1586 1846 131543+ fd Linux raid autodetect
So, we have two independent problems here. ASP parameters' definition,
and the disk size after using the OS Restore CD.
Please help.
Thanks,
Jasmine
