Thanks. If I restored it with a 4i, wouldn't I get:
[root admin]# cat /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [linear] [raid0] [raid1] [raid5] [translucent]
read_ahead not set
unused devices: <none>
[root admin]#
the above is what one of my other RaQ4s shows; it's NOT a 4r.
And doesn't it look like my second drive (hdc1) is good, not my first,
which would be (hda1)?

Been there (literally), done that. At the data-center last night.

As of course I realize now <frown>.
Nevertheless, why isn't the raid showing up in the gui <frown>?
