Hi All,
At the risk of repeating a lot of other e-mails, I would like to find out if
I'm save now to use the OS 2.0 update on my in-production RaQ. If I remember
I've heard of the following problems:
- PHP should be re-installed (no problem)
- eth0 dissapearing (quite a problem, as I should have to cycle to the other
end of town to get access to the server, and so have all the people who want
to visit the hosted websites)
- problems with makewhatis
- problems with catchall aliases
- things I allready forgot?
Because people usualy only post when there is a problem I don't know if
these issues appear often. My situation is: experencied unix sysop, not
afraid to try thing, don't need a lot of extra work and cannot afford the
system going offline too long.
My questions are:
(a) should I do the 2.0 update?
(b) why?
Jelmer
