[cobalt-users] Qube 3 Samba upgrade?

Hi folks,

I'm keen to deploy a roving profiles system on our network (everyone
wants their own Outlook on every desk), and can achieve this relatively
easily (for some values of ... ) using Samba 2.2.3a to transform a RH6.2
box into a PDC with (fairly) full w2k domain support.

For us, its really a case of integrating the enhanced samba support into
the Qube without breaking too much else in the process -- even more
important that the roving profiles is centralised authentication
(although the RPs would be a bonus). I'm also giving some thought to
scripting up a simple login script to map a drive onto ~/home and using
something vaguely well behaved like pegasus to give the users mail on
every desktop ...

So has anyone out there done similar things with their Qube?

Any thoughts and advice welcomed.
