That web site is full of bad information. While it says servers will be
"re-IP'd", I have been told that Interland has bought the Interliant IP
blocks. Calling the 800# listed there gets you put at the back of the
line behind calls to Interland's existing support number. (I tested it
by calling the main support number and got through ahead of my other
call that had been in music-on-hold hell for 15 minutes.)
Just to wrap up the "adventure", after I "found" my server still sitting
at Interliant, I ended up being the one to inform Interland of their
oversight/screw-up. At about 5PM I put them in contact with someone at
Interliant who told me that he found 13 servers they missed. They
finally got someone with enough brains to get over there and retrieve
the 13 servers they missed. It still took them 5 hours to get someone
over to Interliant which is only about 15 miles away. My server came
back online sometime after midnight. (I checked it at 6AM). I won't be
continuing my hosting with Interland. I may even fill out a form 1500 at
the US Post Office to block future junk postal mail from Interland.
Throughout this entire period, I never got a single call from Interland
to let me know they're doing anything. As of this afternoon, I still
have not heard from anyone at Interland. According to their ticketing
system, all my tickets, including my request to the billing department
are still open.
I also have heard from a former icom.com customer, which was bought by
Interliant, who had her website disappear off the face of the earth.
(Her DNS appears to be missing from Interland's servers.)
