Maybe it's a procmail permissions error. How do you have procmail
setup, as the LDA or invoked through .forward. The .forward
and .procmailrc MUST be only writeable by the user, it cannot be group
writeable unless you have configured it to do so. I don't and also, I
set spool directories as /home/spool/mail/<user>. And you
have "/home/sites/site23/../../spool/mail/xyz, is this a spool
directory off the site or users directory, very odd. I would take a
look at your procmail file for this user.
