Hello All,
I have a cobalt raq4 (actually a fleet of them)
but I was working with the patches on a spare raq
and I was trying to get up to the OS Upgrade 2.0.
When I installed the kernel patch mentioned in the
subject, I rebooted and it did not come back up
on the network. I had to go to our data center
and serial console in. When I got in, I notice no
eth0 up or no mention of eth0 in dmesg.
When I try to bring it up manually, I see:
root@web-raq-spare4:/etc/rc.d/init.d# ./network start
Disabling IPv4 packet forwarding.
ifconfig lo 127.0.0.1 netmask 255.0.0.0 broadcast 127.255.255.255
ifconfig eth0 216.12.0.65 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 216.12.0.255
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
Any help, advice is much appriciated! Did anyone else have this problem?
Do I need to do a sysreset or is there a simpler fix to this?
Thanks so much,
Ashby
