} exit. Let me know if this works for you.
I posted the fix earlier but it was ignored and having had done
this before, many times, I'm sure it was ignored because it
obviously doesn't look like the fix (Pine? I ain't using Pine you
fool) - even though it is indeed the fix. So this time I'll not only
explain how to stop these messages from being created, I'll provide
a link to the supporting documentation.
The explination of exactly why this file is created can be
found at the Pine (this is the 'author's' web site) Information
center. While I realize that Pine does not seem to be the right
target for stopping these messages from being created, if you read
the documentation you'll find out that Pine is indeed creating these
messages and that stopping Pine from doing so is as easy as pie:
http://www.washington.edu/pine/faq/errors.html#44
To disable it, fire up Pine for the user account in which
you wish to remove these messages (you can do it system wide by
editing the default Pine configuration file - all you have to do is
find it :-) select setup, select configure and then scroll down
until you see "quell-folder-internal-mesg then delete the one in the
email box and you are good to go.
No more "DON'T DELETE THIS MESSAGE" messages.
Honest...
Peace be with you,
