Max size seems to be 33.8gb without having to patch the kernel
../..

The way I did it:
1/backup everything for security purposes
2/move old HD to a Windows/Dos machine, make sure BIOS does recognize
the drive
3/install new HD in the same Windows/Dos machine, same remark
4/use utility like PowerQuest DriveCopy or DriveImage (I used the Dos
diskettes that you can make with DriveImage)
5/copy old drive onto new drive with utility (this allows you to
redimension all partitions)
6/move new drive from Windows machine to Qube2
7/reboot, should work right away. (boot takes much longer than with
the 4.3gb)
I used a 30gb WD Caviar 5400rpm.
