That will create a symbolic link at /usr/local which points to a real
directory at /home/usr/local. A good way to get used to how "ln" (and a lot
of other commands) work is to create a directory in /home/tmp and practice
with them. As long as you're practicing on copies of files, files you
created, etc. there's no danger that you may screw something up.

I do not know. But I guarantee that anyone that administers a Cobalt box
properly has broken the warranty many times over if the warranty is taken at
face value. I think you're ok creating a symbolic link to address a
partition that is getting full because Cobalt chose to make that partition
so tiny.

I can't say from experience since none of the boxes I've done this on have
sites using Frontpage. My advice is to make sure you have a good backup
*and* recovery system in place (this means testing the recovery phase to
make sure it works) and give it a shot. If you run into problems, restore
from a good backup. No harm done.
