Unlikely. The recent eXPensive OS from Redmond includes a fun default
setting which requires a Win2k or higher environment by default. I do run
Samba as a "domain controller" and it's actually quite a bit of work to get
THOSE clients to join. My guess is an "admin" login/pass on the micros~1
machine that is the same login/pass as on the Qube or its smbpasswd file.
(well, ok, so I guess that DOES count as "Samba misconfig" so you get my
vote).
