I got exactly the same problem today while setting up
"Secondary Name Service for Domain"
The only thing different with the domain that caused me the problem is that
it starts with a number.
XXX.com <- Works
1XX.com <- Fails
Has anyone else found this a problem ?
I had to remove the offending domain name from /etc/named/records
Cheers
