Moving beyond eye candy, what about the technology actually
running your business? Let's also look at OSes. None is
perfect, and I don't want to start an OS flame war, but BSD is
(IMHO) cleaner than Linux.
Kernel securelevels, event queues, accept filters (FreeBSD), a
focus on doing it right over new features, a nice package
manager, the ports collection, disk softupdates, filesystem
mounted _sync_ by default....
Ask those experienced in both which they prefer. Eight years
Linux experience and two or three with BSD... well, I tihnk that
you know my bias.
