Hi,
Go to real.com and from there you'll find a link that describes exactly
the bandwidth usage per media file, per stream, etc. You can do the
arithmetic using those figures, especially if you know an average media
file size. If you have Real Producer software, its accompanying manual
also has this information.
The RealServer Basic (capable of 25 streams) we're using consumes 16 MB
RAM to set up and serve its 25 streams. It uses this much RAM whether
there are listeners or not. Additional connections, i. e., listeners and
the RealServer monitor when in use, consume more RAM.
