[cobalt-users] Email problem - Possible CMU Import Problem - Period in username

I just successfully used CMU 2.27 to do a full server replacement on a RAQ3
with over 100 sites. I had a few email forwards "show-up" on me, but other
than that it worked like a dream. I noticed a problem today that I believe
has occurred since then. (see error below) - All names and domains have been
changed from original.

There were users on the original box that has periods in their username.
When they imported their permissions and groups are not correct. (see list
of users below). I figured I could just change the ownership and I would be
all set except it reports an "invalid user" if I try to change ownership
(below). If I do a finger s.jones they are listed. Any help or insight
would be appreciated. Is a "period" in a username a problem?

Thanks
Eric
