Hi, me again.
I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why my Audiotron (mp3
player for home stereo) can't access my Qube2 via samba. Basically the
Audiotron uses smb to access shared folders and it works fine when accessing
my Win98 machine, however I get an error of "invalid pipe" in the samba
error log on the Qube. The Win98 machines can browse the Qube2 shared
folders with no problem however.
Here is the relevant bit of the samba error log (note: the Audiotron is
ATRON002E52 and the
linux box is named CUBE. I have a user on the box named HOMENET and in the
home directory of HOMENET is a directory called MUSIC. All of these are
accessible via Windows98 network browsing when logging on as HOMENET with
password. HOMENET is also the name of the local domain that I created for
windows. I also created a username of ATRON002E52. ):
Any thoughts/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
