[cobalt-users] Site admin FTP relating to firewalls

Hi Everyone,

Sorry to bring up a subject that has been mentioned before.

However this problem is becoming more of an issue to me now,
than ever before.

The problem is the ability to access a Raq3/4 via FTP if the
user is working on a network with a firewall. Searching through
the archives I have found the reasons, (firewall blocking certain
FTP ports and 81), but I have not been able find a resolution.

I would be greatful if anyone could point me in the right direction
please.

If there is not a resolution, does anyone know what Sun might be
looking at in the future, as maybe 2 years ago, this was not such
a major issue, but now the use of networks and firewalls for Internet
connection is so common, it surely must be addressed.
