Hi Yah,
Having a play with SecureFX tonight (allows SFTP or FTP over a SSH2
connection), being the admin thought that this was one of the most better
and secure methods of FTP'ing to the server and checking on customers
sites/files.
Wondering if anyone else is using it as I have spotted a bug or need someone
to clarify if it's the software default or if it is a bug.
When I use the file manager in webmin it allows me to see a particular
files/directories properties including usergroup etctera, SecureFX allows
this functionality also but when I check the properties of a file/directory
I get something completely different to what I would expect and what webmin
tells me.
For example I would see in webmin userid joebloggs & usergroup 123, but
looking at the same file in SecureFX I would see userid 259 & usergroup 123,
which kind of defeats the purpose especially on the RaQ. Anyone know if this
like I say is a bug, setting feature needing changed or simply the
software's default.
Can email offline saves cluttering up the digest
Thanks in advance & regards from Auckland
