I have done the same on my server. The Sites will appear down to you at
first until your DNS cache files are cleared. It works fine but can
sometimes take about 12-24 Hours or longer if you keep trying to check
it.
Do it on a site that you haven't viewed in a while and it will be seen
instantly.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Moving a domain's IP address?
currently we are hosting several of our clients domains on our
Raq4 as well as providing DNS for these sites. we are going to be
adding ecommerce capabilities to site that is virtually-hosted on a
shared IP, and due to some openSSL/SSH issues it looks like the
domain will require its own IP address. so my question is, if i just
change the sites current (shared) IP address, to another IP
address we have (as well as change the DNS information) will i
run into any problems?
thanks for any help!
