He already stated that when he tries www.name.com/index.html he sees his
file, which would make it impossible for the file to be in a ~username
directory, but when he tries www.name.com he sees the Cobalt default. In
that case either the default Cobalt page is named index.htm (if that's the
way the server is configured), or it's his browser cache showing the other
file.
The only other possibility I haven't seen mentioned is that his ISP uses a
proxy cache and that's where it's coming from.
