Or if they are not directly connected to your box, have them use the SMTP
server of thier ISP. Most ISP's will accept any mail from within thier own
network, even if an account doesnt exist on any of thier servers.

Before "Pop before SMTP" came along, that was the simplest way to solve the
issue.
