me this works however I cannot find anything in their sales info that says
they support Access on the Cube, and I do not want to buy one just to find

I'm afraid you won't be able to host an Access database on a Linux OS - this
isn't a limitation of Cobalts' just a long standing MS licensing issue I
believe! If you were on a RaQ I would say use the included SequeLink
software to connect your server to another (Win) machine hosting the
database.
As it's a Qube I'm not 100% sure. Hopefully someone else will be able to
assist?? Maybe you could use Samba or something to hook a drive.
