That's strange, because SUN has been advertising WebMail
as an integrated service in the new XTR. Please take a
look at the XTR FAQ at:
http://www.sun.com/hardware/serverappliances/xtr/faq.html
The WebMail feature has been mentioned twice in there.
Also, look at the knowledgebase article #010608-002313.
It says "As of this writing, Webmail is supported solely
on the Qube 3 and RaQ XTR products".
Why would SUN falsely indicate that these new systems
have WebMail if they didn't?
-It is upto you to believe what you want to, and please feel free to
continue looking for it. I was just offering some advice. I have just
stopped being the product manager for Cobalt for Sun Australia, and it is my
understanding that Webmail was removed because it was no good under serious
load.
The sheet you are pointing to is the old sheet and, as I have already
stated, the old version of the XTR had Webmail (hence why it is in the
knowledge base)
The XTR is a great product )please remember I do not still work for them)
but I am fairly certain that it is missing the webmail you require. Sun
don't really know what have and, in my opinion are letting a great product
and team go to waste.
