[cobalt-users] Webalizer Woes

Okay, I've had nothing but problems with Webalizer working.  The latest
problem is that in the last month any of my clients who have Webalizer can't
access their stats (currently using 1.3GIF).  I've read through the archives
and made the necessary changes to the webalizer.pl file and it still doesn't
work, all clients get the Internal Server Error.  If I upload a blank
.htaccess file to each clients stats directory they can access their stats,
but it's a pain in the a**.

I tried installing v2 from sourceforge on the 1st, after uninstalling v1.3,
but it wouldn't work. I did run ./webalizer2.pl, but no luck.

I need to know what to do and how to fix this problem and whether or not I
can install v2 during the month without loosing the old data.  I don't
particularly need to install the pkg version as I understand that you need
to install it on the 1st of the month.

I need to get either v1.3 to work or be able to install v2.0 and get it to
work without this stupid Internal Server Error Message.

BTW:  I also have some clients using Urchin.  Everything was working fine up
till mid November then the error message.
