Hi
After a harddrive crash i replaced with exact same drive (Seagate 40 Gb
st340810A from Cobalt/sun) and after restoring the OS this is what
df tells me:
[admin admin]$ df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda1 726M 545M 181M 75% /
/dev/hda3 194M 10M 184M 5% /var
/dev/hda4 4.5G 90M 4.4G 2% /home
[admin admin]$
This is about 5.5 G, where missing 33 G.
While dmesg has the correct drive:
[admin admin]$ dmesg|grep hda
ide0: BM-DMA at 0xf000-0xf007, BIOS settings: hda:DMA, hdb:DMA
hda: ST340810A, ATA DISK drive
hda: ST340810A, 38166MB w/2048kB Cache, CHS=77545/16/63, (U)DMA
hda: hda1 hda2 < hda5 hda6 > hda3 hda4
Anyone knows this problem?
I searched the archives, but probably missed it ;)
Thanx!
Best regarts,
B. Hendriks
