As far as I know, the kernel code is not LGPL. Cobalt Linux is derived
from GNU/Linux. You may have noticed that I mentioned the GUI separately.

I was not implying that adding a package to the OS counts as derivative
work. The question is which part of the OS Restore CD contents does the
Sun Cobalt License cover.
