Simply donwload the rpm file.
On RaQ which has an i386 K6-2 300 I use the .i386.rpm
A src file s also on this page.
You must be root.
Telnet will not work so you have to connect direct to the Cobalt.
Then simply rpm ?I filename.
Know you have adsl-setup,adsl-start and adsl-stop.
Type adsl-setup press enter and you´ll be asked for
Username Password ..
(I Hope you have it, in germany we need Username and pass for Telekom
ADSL pppoe)
Does you QUBE2 has an K6-2 or MIPS processor?

I think so,
You´ll only need rppoe.
http://www.roaringpenguin.com/pppoe/
This will run on every Linuxsystem.
On my RaQ it works fine.
