Sorry if did not read the original post correctly:
#Start
Ok I finally installed the SSH package provided by cobalt.
I have read on the "openssh" website.....but still wondering
how to start using this safe transfer method ?
Do I need to install any program on my desktop computer (win2000pro) ?
Someone who will be friendly an give me a kick ?
Best regards

I had assumed that Roger was asking how to log on with a Secure Shell using
SSH but you are right Lilith, secure FTP is a whole new issue.
Putty also has a Secure FTP program called PSFTP, and can be dowloaded at
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html
And again, Lilith is correct, getting end users to use a secure FTP client
is a whole new issue. That sounds like something that should be a sysadmin
issue in regards to Terms of Use or Website Storage Policies.
