Not sure if this will help, but a similar situation happened to me.  In my
case, it was a problem with the power supply or something in the area of
power.  I was able to send it back and file claim on the insurance.  If you
have the test equipment, check input and outputs around your power supply
before you do too much else with it.  Hopefully it's something simple.
