Either go directly into /etc/named/records and add the Win2k's IP at
the top of the file, or through the GUI set up the Win2k box to be
allowed for this... Control Panel -> DNS -> Server Settings -> Zone
Transfer Access (right-hand drop-down box, put the Win2k IP here).
This is for *all* of the domains, if you want to do it for just one
domain then just hit the drop-down box on the left for mydomain.net
and choose 'Secondary Service for Domain' in the drop-down box on the
right.
As for the Win2k box trying to tell your RaQ to update its stuff,
either shut your Win2k box up or ignore those log lines. Win boxes
think they know everything and are always trying to tell other
servers what to do.
