Actually cobalt has a limit, and the kernel (maybe apache) has a limit.
Cobalt has a hard limit, and if you search the archives, someone from cobalt
posted how to change the limit. The kernel (or apache) limit is 256 files (I
believe) open. So if you had 500 sites and more than a couple hundred people
accessing them at one time you could be in deep do-do.
