   That isn't the problem; you can easily have www.mydomain.tld and
subdomain.mydomain.tld point to the same place (we do it with a number of
domains on our machine). However, if you only have one IP on the box, you
_can't_ be running your own DNS out of that box (since two name servers are
required).

   Have you checked to make sure your secondary (or even primary) is properly
serving the DNS?
