AW: [cobalt-users] hda1 is getting full because of installtion

Move the installations to /home/anydir

and make a link from the path where it was original installed to the new
location.

so for example:

Original dir = /var/something

new dir = /home/something

link from /var/something -> /home/something

as home is on a different partition you can free your /dev/hda1 by doing
this

or directly while compiling new software you can do a make
prefix=/home/directory and make prefix=/home/directory install so the paths
will be set to the "prefix"

Hi!

I got the problem that hda1 is 94% used,
because there was tomcat and IBM Java installed.

so what can I do now?
